UX Designer

UX Designer Application

Overview

At WEBBLDR, we don’t just build websites. We build tools that work for real businesses.

We’re looking for a seasoned UX Designer who can turn strategy into structure — someone who knows how to guide users, prioritize clarity, and balance aesthetics with function. Our clients are builders, contractors, and blue-collar companies across the U.S. They don’t need fluff. They need clarity, confidence, and conversion — and we need a UX partner who gets that.

You’ll be working directly with the leadership team, developer, and occasionally clients, shaping the user journey from concept to launch.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead UX for custom 5–10 page websites, from kickoff to developer handoff
  • Develop user flows, low- to mid-fidelity wireframes, and layout logic
  • Understand and interpret client goals, audiences, and content needs
  • Present and explain UX direction to internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with design and dev teams to ensure functionality matches intent
  • Support audits and redesigns of existing sites as needed
  • Help refine and systemize our internal UX process as we scale

Who We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of UX design experience (freelance, in-house, or agency)
  • Strong understanding of hierarchy, navigation, layout, and content structure
  • Confident communicator who can explain why behind each UX choice
  • Comfortable working independently and leading multiple small projects
  • Experience with B2B websites, service-based industries, or construction-related clients is a plus
  • Advanced Figma skills and comfort with collaborative tools like Notion, Slack, Google Docs

What You’ll Get

  • Flexibility to work remotely and asynchronously
  • A leadership team that values thoughtful UX over surface-level aesthetics
  • Ability to own the user experience across multiple client websites
  • Opportunity to influence internal processes as we scale
  • Portfolio-defining projects with real-world impact
  • Clear scope and expectations on every project
